E.C.I. Class

Deale Elementary has an E.C.I. (Early Childhood Intervention) class. Deale Elementary is the E.C.I. site for South County. We have students from Shady Side, Lothian, Harwood, Traceys, Churchton and Deale. E.C.I. is a special education service provided by Anne Arundel County Public Schools. We teach three, four and five year olds who have a handicapping condition that requires extra attention. Many of the students receiving E.C.I. also receive services from the speech and language therapist, occupational and physical therapists. Most of our students will go on to Kindergarten and be very successful.
